Screenshots must use a fictional demonstration workspace. Remove personal information, credentials, internal identifiers and browser extensions before capture. Use the current production-ready interface and replace an image whenever its documented workflow changes materially.

Capture standard

  • Use a consistent browser size and 100% zoom.
  • Prefer a light theme unless the page explains appearance settings.
  • Crop to the task being explained while keeping enough navigation for orientation.
  • Add annotations only when the surrounding text cannot identify the control clearly.
  • Store images with the matching lowercase filename, for example sw-019.png.
