LISS can send timetable structures, bell times, rooms, students, teachers, classes, class memberships and timetable slots to SupportWise.
LISS configuration contains connection credentials. Copy them only into the authorised timetable product and never place them in email screenshots, shared documents or support messages.

Create the connection

1

Open Integrations

Go to Settings → Integrations. Copy the displayed LISS endpoint URL.
2

Add a connection

Enter a recognisable connection name, the client identifier supplied to the timetable system and the applicable product label.
3

Configure the sending system

Enter the SupportWise endpoint and generated credentials in the LISS-compatible timetable product. Field names differ by product; follow that product’s LISS instructions.
4

Send a complete sync

Publish the supported datasets from the timetable product. Keep the Integrations page open to monitor Sync History.
5

Finalise and process when needed

SupportWise can finalise complete runs automatically. The page also provides actions to finalise, process or retry eligible runs.
6

Review and import

A completed sync populates the LISS-backed directory and timetable data. Use the dedicated import actions for learners, support staff or periods where offered.

Understand sync status

Validate a completed sync

  • Expected methods appear in the run.
  • Counts are credible compared with the timetable product.
  • Teachers have useful codes and email addresses.
  • Students have stable external identifiers.
  • Classes and memberships appear before relying on class-linked views.
  • Bell times match the current cycle before importing periods.
LISS-supplied data and SupportWise-managed records serve different purposes. A completed sync does not automatically replace every manually managed learner, staff or period field.
