SupportWise uses different access records for coordination users, support staff and teachers. Choose the correct workflow so each person reaches the intended experience.

Coordinator access

Open Settings → User Management to invite and manage administrative workspace users.
1

Create an invite

Enter the person’s school email and send the invitation.
2

Monitor pending invites

Search the Invites list by email or role. Revoke an invitation that was sent to the wrong address or is no longer required.
3

Manage memberships

Search existing memberships by name, email or role. Available actions include editing another user’s role, sending a password reset email and revoking access.
You cannot edit your own role or revoke your own membership from the membership row. This helps prevent accidental self-lockout.

Support Staff access

Support staff access starts from People & Access → Import Staff:
  1. Create or import the staff record with the correct email.
  2. Link it to an available user account when appropriate.
  3. Send the staff portal invitation from the staff directory.
Do not use coordinator User Management as a substitute for the staff-record link.

Teacher access

Teachers are read from the LISS teacher directory. Their portal access depends on:
  • teacher portal access being enabled;
  • the teacher record being active and having the correct email; and
  • the teacher using the school-specific portal link and matching email.
Removing access is consequential. Confirm the person, school workspace and access type before revoking a membership or invitation.
