What to check

  • Name is recognisable to the school.
  • Teacher code matches the timetable system.
  • Email is the address the teacher will use for the magic link.
  • External ID remains stable between syncs.
  • Active status matches the current timetable data.
Use search to find a teacher by name, code, email or external ID. Filters can narrow the list by record condition.

Correcting a record

Because the directory is read-only, correct the source teacher record in the timetable product and run a new LISS sync. Do not create a separate SupportWise-only teacher simply to bypass an incorrect source email.
The teacher portal links the authenticated email to a synced teacher. A missing, shared or incorrect email can prevent access or create an identity ambiguity. Resolve it before distributing the portal broadly.
