# Workspace settings

> Configure customer-ready capabilities, daily publishing and workspace identifiers.

Open **Settings → Settings**. Administrative access is required to change workspace settings.

## Workspace capabilities

<AccordionGroup>
  <Accordion title="Teacher portal access">
    Allows teachers to request a magic link and view the teacher portal. Enable this only after the synced teacher directory contains reliable email addresses and you have distributed the school-specific portal URL.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Staff absence notifications">
    Allows linked support staff to submit their own absence notification from the staff portal. The notification informs coordinators; it does not automatically resolve affected support.
  </Accordion>

  <Accordion title="Groups & commitments">
    Shows the workspace used for intervention groups, recurring group sessions, duties, meetings and protected staff time.
  </Accordion>
</AccordionGroup>

## Daily draft publishing

Daily changes are saved privately as a working plan. Configure:

* **Publish or remind at** — the daily time used by the workspace workflow.
* **Show banner before** — between 5 and 120 minutes before that time.
* **Manual publish** — coordinators are reminded and decide when to publish.
* **Auto publish** — the current drafts are published automatically at the chosen time.

<Warning>
  Auto publish can expose unfinished daily decisions if coordinators have not completed the working plan. Begin with manual publishing until the school's morning process is proven.
</Warning>

## Billing and identifiers

The settings page also displays current plan information, billing cycle, status, renewal timing, recent invoices and workspace identifiers when available. The identifiers include the tenant name, tenant slug and teacher portal URL.

Use the copy controls rather than retyping an identifier. Workspace identifiers are for configuration and support; they are not passwords.
