# Feature availability

> Know which customer features depend on workspace configuration.

Core setup, people directories, Timetable Builder, absences, Daily Organisation, Live Day Board and account notifications are part of the coordination workflow.

The following capabilities appear only when enabled for the workspace:

* **Teacher portal access**
* **Staff absence notifications**
* **Groups & commitments**
* **Automatic daily draft publishing**

Some controls also require suitable source data. For example, timetable planning needs configured periods and learners; Teacher portal access needs linked teacher records and reliable email addresses.
