# Planned and daily support

> Understand the difference between the master timetable, a working plan and the published day.

SupportWise separates long-term planning from day-to-day changes.

| State             | Purpose                                                            | Who sees it                                                        |
| ----------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------ | ------------------------------------------------------------------ |
| Planned timetable | The normal support allocation | Coordinators and portal users when no published change replaces it |
| Working plan | Draft replacements, removals and no-support decisions for one date | Coordinators only |
| Published day | The current plan sent from Daily Organisation or Live Day Board | Coordinators, linked Support Staff and eligible Teachers |

Recording an absence identifies affected sessions but does not automatically decide the replacement. A Coordinator/Timetabler reviews each uncovered session, saves decisions to the working plan, and sends the complete plan when it is ready.

Resetting to the planned timetable also begins as a working change. Staff continue to see the current published plan until the reset is sent.

<Tip>
  Treat publishing as a handover point. Review all saved decisions together before sending them to staff.
