# Profile and default workspace

> Update your profile, appearance and preferred SupportWise workspace.

Open **Settings → User Settings** to manage settings that belong to your own account.

## Profile

Review your name and account details, make the available changes, and save. These preferences follow your signed-in SupportWise account.

## Default workspace

If you can access more than one school, choose the workspace SupportWise should open first. You can still switch workspaces from the main navigation.

## Appearance

Choose the available theme preference. The setting changes how SupportWise appears for you and does not affect other users.

  A default workspace is a convenience, not an access grant. Available schools are controlled by your active membership, Support Staff link or authorised support access.
